As part of the administration of Anime Kanarazu, I would like to inform everyone of our club! We are huge anime fans ourselves (we prefer the name 'otaku') and our mission is to provide a fun atmosphere for people who share our interest in Japanese animation/manga and Japanese culture. Our first meeting will take place on January 13th at the Civic Auditorium in Kingsport. We currently have many fun events planned for our initial launch, so it should be a very fun event! That would be great to start a local anime club well i live in wise and i dont know of many anime fans so this sounds pretty kool

^.^ Feel free to visit our site! Our forums are just now picking up, so stop by and ask questions, or just have fun! Our next meeting is Saturday, Jan. 27th. It's from 2-5pm at the Civic Auditorium in Kingsport. We would love to see some new faces!

ah, cool, finally someone has an anime club put together around here. I may have to join, but I just hate traveling to Kingsport because I know I'm going to be in an accident, lol. Call me crazy, but I like these slow little backroads. Anyways, I think it's great that there is an anime club. I've been into anime for years and its been difficult finding people who like anime as well that I haven't worked to convert.

I am with allam8d8 you dont find too many people around this area that likes or even knows what anime is! I myself do not belong to a club yet would love to join. I have been to three conventions and loved every minute. I have attended MTAC for the past two years and had the chance to attend Ohayocon in January of this year. I will be sure and drop by the club's site.
